I am so excited to be exhibiting in the end of year Bad Apple exhibition ‘A is for Apple’ at the AMAZING Inverarity Gallery this November….I was given the letter R🙌👻🖤 and decided to make my La Morte drawing come to life (with an art doll and horse) – because R is for Reaper, of course!
R is for Reaper… Ooak art doll. She is a mix of air dry and polymer clay over a wire frame, with a needle felt over wire torso. Her outfit is a mix of new and recycled fabrics, with crochet chainmail and armour created from a mix of jewelry findings.
Her crown is metal decorated with a polymer clay skull, and has a black and gold veil attached to the back.
Her unicorn horse is also a mix of air dry and polymer clay over a wire frame, with a clay saddle decorated with metal jewelry findings.
Her scythe is a mix of wood, clay , fabric and resin. The base is wooden, and decorated with air dry and polymer clay skulls and flowers. To the top of her scythe she’s approximately 60cm tall.

A graphite drawing of a creepy cute bunnygirl and her sailor boy…everyone loves a bunny, but beware this little bunny will steal your heart! She seems to have a little collection of them.
As well as my etsy shop I have also opened a society6 shop society6.com/samcrowart , so i can add my work to wonderful goodies such as mugs and pillows and other such niceness which are lovely to keep or to give as presents!
I have finally finished my first drawing of 2018…Subrina and Rosabel, graphite pencil on A3 paper…the tiny crows on the wallpaper made me slightly cross eyed, but I loved doing it! Prints will be in my etsy shop very soon!
